Jane Wolff has served on the School Committee for six of the past seven years, serving as clerk for the last two. Jane has served on the Finance, Compensation and Benefits, and Scholarship committees. Her voice is one that looks to the long-term interest and financial sustainability of the school. We owe particular thanks to Jane for her efforts in the last fundraising campaign — donating her house, her dining room table, her persistence, and many, many of her hours to complete the personalized appeals to individual donors that provide the majority of our scholarship aid. This effort would not have proceeded without Jane’s leadership. Jane leaves large shoes to fill, as she moves on to dedicate her time and skill to other endeavors. We are grateful that Jane continues to hold Monteverde Friends School high on her list of priorities and appreciate her continuing to efforts to support the school in a myriad of ways.

Our school is sustained by donations to our scholarship fund. Over one-third of our students are on financial aid. This year we have depleted our fund. With tuition going up for next year, we need to be prepared to support all families at the levels they need in order to continue to attend our school.

Your donations to our scholarship fund allow us to retain quality teachers, as well as to buy books and supplies. Monteverde Friends School is grateful to our broad base of donors who enable us to provide a high quality education to all eligible students regardless of their ability to pay.

If you are in need of a U.S. tax deduction, you can make a donation to Monteverde Friends U.S., and send it to:
