AlphaSmarts

MFS parents joined up with State College Friends School to donate AlphaSmarts to our 3rd–8th grade classrooms.

Monteverde Friends School enjoys and requires a great deal of community support. Parents, Monteverde community members, friends around the world, and visitors to the area all contribute greatly to the ongoing success of Monteverde Friends School. There are many ways to join our dynamic community!

For example, every spring, community members from Monteverde and surrounding areas, volunteers, and visitors walk the 13 kilometers of our Walkathon, or Caminata, to help raise funds for the school. The 2008 Caminata took place Saturday, March 8.

Local musicians add to the festivities at the end of our annual fund-raising walkathon, La Caminata.

In addition, over the years, various institutions, organizations, families, and individuals have generously helped our students keep up to date with computer, internet, and scientific technology. Please visit our Donations page to find out which form of giving is best for you.
